Traffic Coatings

Issue: Parking decks can be subject to extremely corrosive and deteriorating environments that can be damaged by corrosive chlorides and freeze / thaw cycles. Moisture penetration is the most common element that can begin the corrosion process.

Solution: Traffic membrane installation forms a waterproof barrier to prevent the intrusion of moisture, salts and other elements necessary to start the corrosion process. The membrane also acts as a waterproofing membrane to protect occupied spaces below.

Typical Locations: Parking garages, ramps, plazas and bridges

Concrete Restoration

Issue: Rebar corrosion can cause significant damage to concrete that surrounds it. When the elements that cause corrosion are present, the reinforcing steel can expand up to seven times its original size. When that force of expansion is greater than the strength of the adjacent concrete, this can lead to spalling in the concrete, which can cause structural deficiencies when left unchecked.

Solution: Demolish the spalled concrete and replaced deteriorated rebar. Install galvanic protection and install repair materials.

Typical Locations: Parking structures, warehouses, hospitals, commercial buildings

Structural Improvements & CFRP & FRP Reinforcing

Issue: A change in the use of a facility requires the strengthening columns, beams and concrete slabs. Other natural influencers such as rain, snow, earthquakes and time can expedite the deterioration of concrete and structural elements such as columns.

Solution: Enlarge the column size with additional reinforcing steel and concrete, and / or by utilizing carbon fiber composites.

Typical Locations: Parking structures, stairs, warehouses, hospitals, commercial buildings, swimming pools

Crack Repair

Issue: Cracks in concrete can develop due to time and exposure to the elements, ground movement, temperature changes, and excessive loads.

Solution: Repair of the cracks prohibits further deterioration and water intrusion to help protect your investment.

Typical Locations: Loading docks, warehouses, commercial buildings, parking structures
